Thank you for choosing to consign with us. We appreciate your business, and we will do everything
we can to accommodate you and your items. We will provide a clean and inviting environment that provides the best service to you, the consignor, for the sale of your goods.
Please review ALL the information below, as we have updated our terms and conditions.
Consignment Contract
1. Carefully review our Consignment Contract. It can be viewed on our website or through your consignor account. Once you establish an account, your signed copy will be scanned in for you to review
at any time.
2. Carefully review our Accepted and Not Accepted items lists and our Seasonal Schedule before you select items to bring in for consideration.
3. Ensure that all items are clean and in good condition. Please make sure any electronics, lighting, small appliances, etc. have been plugged in, tested, and have all their parts before bringing
them in.
4. Ensure that you are bringing in NO MORE than 100 of your best items to be considered for inventory. We want to give every consignor a chance to sell their goods and ask that you adhere to the
100-limit rule. Sets of items that are meant to be sold together will only count as 1 of the 100 total items. Example: a set of silverware will count as 1 item.
*Note that certain items can only be brought in limited quantities per appointment. Please refer to the Accepted List.
5. Please bring your consignments in bags or small boxes. Any and All container(s) or large boxes consignments are brought in will need to be taken with you at the end of the appointment.
6. The Beanstalk determines the selling price according to brand, quality, demand, and appearance. Please advise us if there is any item in which you would be disappointed if the selling price fell
below your expectations.
***The Beanstalk Consignment Shop, LLC reserves the right to refuse any item, for any reason. We are not a thrift store. If you wouldn't buy it here, please do not
consign it here. Unmarked items left on the premises after business hours without prior approval will become property of The BeanStalk.***
Items Accepted at The Beanstalk
All items must be newer than 2 years old, in excellent condition, clean and free from strong odors (perfume, smoke, pet hair, moth-balls, etc.) and in season (holidays included) as well as style.
Remember, good-looking clothing sells best for you and makes the store a delight to shop.

Furniture: Needs preapproval via email. Free from pet hair, odors, stains, and major repairs.

How to Consign
To serve you and our resale customers the best, please call ahead at 512-267-5437 to schedule an appointment.
For furniture consignments, we request you email us a picture to beanstalkconsignment@gmail.com to confirm we will accept and have room for your item in our store before you load and bring it.
If you come in without an appointment, we will do our best to get to you as soon as possible, but please be patient. There is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate walk-ins.
When items are consigned, you will be asked to fill out paperwork. Each consignor is assigned an account through our cloud provider and will be emailed a login and password to access their inventory
in the store by using a Google Chrome browser and this link: https://thebeanstalkconsignmentshop.ricoconsign.com/login
The inventory list shows all items with initial selling prices for the items consigned on that date. It is the responsibility of the consignor to check their account for accuracy. The Beanstalk is
not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete inventory listed to your account.
Although we take every precaution to protect your items, The Beanstalk is not responsible for any losses due to handling, theft, fire, flood, or accidental damage. Equipment, toys and furniture
should have all their pieces, be clean, in good working order and must meet all current safety requirements. The Beanstalk also reserves the right to remove and discard or return/donate any garment
that is torn, stained, or damaged to the consignor.
Consignment Period
The consignment period lasts a total of 60 to 90 days. Items accepted for consignment will remain at full price for the first 30-day consignment period. During the second 30-day consignment period,
your remaining item(s) will be placed on sale at 20% off. If in the 30-days after the item has been placed on sale it is still not sold, the following will happen:
● ________If you are willing to donate your items after 60 days, they will be passed on to charities when your term is finished. Please do not forget to check if you have money owed to you.
● ________If you prefer to pick up your items after the 60-day term, it is YOUR responsibility to schedule time to find and pick up your remaining items within 7 business days of notification, unless
other arrangements have been made. We do not have room to store items for longer than this time frame. Expired items that have not been picked up within 7 business days become the property of The
Beanstalk Consignment Shop, LLC and may be donated to local charities.
Payments
Consignor proceeds are 30% of the selling price. Commission payments may be used as in-store credit at any time. Checks will be issued to you once a month and may be picked up during business hours.
Consignors are responsible for checking their accounts or inquiring about and collecting their earnings. Consignment earnings not claimed within 12 months of the original date of consignment become
null and void.
If any of your contact information changes, please remember to notify the store and/or update your account online. We are not responsible for locating you. Upon request, checks can be mailed for a
$2.00 processing fee.
Terms and Conditions
The Beanstalk ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSSES DUE TO HANDLING, THEFT, FIRE, FLOOR OR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO, OR DESTRUCTION OF ANY ARTICLE LEFT ON CONSIGNMENT. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE
ARTICLES WHICH DO NOT MEET OUR STANDARDS. IF IT IS DETERMINED AN ITEM DOES NOT MEET THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CONSIGNMENT CONTRACT & ITS TERMS, THE ITEM WILL BE REMOVED FROM INVENTORY OR REPRICED.
We set our consignment policies based on health and safety laws, previous experience, and knowledge of our clientele.
***EVERY ITEM CONSIGNED IS SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. ANY ITEMS FOUND TO BE IN UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION AFTER INITIAL INSPECTION WILL BE SENT BACK WITH YOU OR DONATED.
*** QUANTITY LIMITS: A MAXIMUM OF 100 ITEMS MAY BE CONSIGNED PER APPOINTMENT. ALL PIECES OF CLOTHING, ART/WALL HANGINGS, & JEWELRY COUNT TOWARD YOUR TOTAL 100 ITEMS!!
I have read the above contract and agree to the terms. I warrant that I am the owner or otherwise am legally entitled to sell the items and that all information given about the items is true to
the best of my knowledge.
